Bernie Sanders On Minimum Wage

I just want to again why thank you to all of you for your courage in standing up up

and fighting for justice editors at all I don't think me to be with you this morning it is the simple truth that

in America we have millions and millions of working people while working hard but

I'm not making enough money to put bread on the table what to take care of their kids and

if dnmt if people weren't forty hours a week they should not be

living in poverty if people worked forty hours a week they have a right dial

a you know did don't represent their interests dnmt if he won't work forty hours a week they

have a right to draw it with the rest of the industrialized world and have health

care for themselves and their kids nnj now what's going on in America today is

well let me get a cadre where the middle class is disappearing we are living in a country where

the people on top have never had it so good and what we are saying today tell the head of the total add

working people deserve a fair shake that's right so we're going to say to the president thank

you for your initial step but we have got to go further the federal government it cannot

and will not be the largest employer of low wage workers in this

country dnmt so what we'll see is it all just standing that

you'll hear what we hear ought not a low and a hundred and fifty city

from one end of this country to another people are saying enough is enough if

workers deserve decent wages and decent but a good let's continue their struggle thank
