Marco Talks Delaying Healthcare Law Penalty

I'm from Miami Republican senator Marco Rubio of Florida he says he will introduce a bill to postpone individual insurance mandate until

health care dot gov is fixing to good morning good morning but the individual mandate was debated during

the time of passing the legislation was considered by Congress during the campaign it was debated what

do you think you can accomplish now well I think there's there's two separate issues that we need to confront the first is whether obamacare should even exist to function and and

obviously I believe it should be repealed and replaced but that's a separate issue from the one that I'm raising now with regards to this law that I intend introduce and

what I'm arguing is this the law says very clearly in at some point next year you do not have health insurance you haven't bought it the

punish people for not purchasing a product that they can't purchase right now because the technology that some place the website that the respondent has posted by it on by

the president's own admission is not working so all I'm calling for is a delay on that requirement until

the general accounting office of their of the United States certifies that the website is up and working and functioning and has been functioning for six consecutive

months I think that's a prudent approach you know guys a chance of passing well we hope so I mean look I think every week that goes by because the

problems in the way this website operates or are significant and I think it's going to be very difficult to reverse this and a number of weeks as we get closer and closer to the deadline you

have consumer reports coming out yesterday advising people to stay off of the website so I think as weak as weeks go on there's

going to be a look for a solution to this problem because it's it's not fair to punish people for not buying something that's not available as
